He has never been hired, worked for a year in any other place. 9 years ago, visiting a brother in law at Essington staffs he aquired a job as a collier. 2 years later he married and rented a house there at 1/6 per week. His wife now dead he has two children Hannah 6 and Joseph 4. 05 June 1820

This seems not to be a Sheepy document. John Cooper wife and 4 Children were removed a week before last Mich. From Bredon to Snareston. Nine years ago was hired by Mr Drummond of Snareston for 2 consecutive years which Drummond disputes as 2 51 week periods.

34 George III 17 dec Born Earl Shilton where father was legally settled. He had various hirings the last of a full twelve months was to Michael Thopmson of Sheepy Magna. Since the he has worked for Mr Joseph Faux of Haddon Huntingdon for the last 3-5 years as a weekly paid labourer. 17 July 1793

Married 10 years ago to Edward Lees a soldier on pension who died 3 months ago in Ratby but his Parents Edward and Ann, now dead, resided at Sheepy Her husband had lived in Ratby 10 years before her marriage but had legal settlement at Sheepy she believes. She has 3 children of the marriage, Ann 6+ Mary 4+ Martha 11m all chargeable to Ratby. Agreed by rector TCF 05 August 1837

Born Sheepy Magna where his parents were lgally settled. At 15years. Although he has had several hirings since age 15 the last one of 12 months was to Mr Moor husbandman of Sheepy where he worked for two consecutive years. 16 May 1789

13 Examination carried out at Nuneaton John asserts that for some years past he has been residing with Samuel Beale of Nuneaton, labourer. His father was killed at ????ssote WAR many years ago some 3 years after his mother's death.. Has been receiving parish relief for 12 months at Nuneaton and has never obtained a legal settlement elsewhere. Samuel Thorne states that he and his brother Thomas sons of Francis and and Sarah Thorne were placed with him by Sheepy overseers 9 years ago shortly after their father's death. 24 February 1848

Was born in Sheepy parents resided there but were of Nuneaton, From age of 10 worked for John Walton baker for a small weekly wage. His widowed mother remarried to John Gilliver at Polesworth. He stopped and slept with John Walton for 4 years until a diseased foot made him unable to work. It was stated that at no time was the hiring continuous by John Walton
